The second bout was interesting. My opponent had a nice flowing style and a good ability to finish his attacks. I tried to match his footwork instead of imposing my own distance on him, hence he controlled the whole bout. Advise to self, do not watch videos of a France - China bout before training. It just made me want to "flow" too much.

Back injury was OK.

I fenced well tonight. I wonder if the longer warmup helped. I bout 4 I really focused on controlling distance rather than maintaining distance. the last bout I rushed, plus got a few horrible calls.

In bout 3 when I prepared on the blade I was pulling my hand back, the opponent stepped in making my action miss. I need to mix up going direct and the distance on that preparation.
